Speaking for Economic Empowerment Program for Immigrant Women

An award-winning 8-week program equipping immigrant women in the Greater Fredericton Region with the skills and confidence to start their career or business in Canada.

Program Highlights:

  • Offered twice yearly: Spring cohort (in-person) and Fall cohort (virtual)

  • Bronze winner at the 2023 IEDC Excellence in Economic Development Awards

  • Build essential soft skills including leadership, time management, and goal setting

  • Learn workplace culture, interview skills, LinkedIn optimization, and resume building

  • Develop entrepreneurial skills: business basics, marketing, branding, and social media

  • Focus on wellness: stress management, work-life balance, and healthy boundaries

  • Network with like-minded women and community leaders

  • Immigrant women in the Greater Fredericton Region

  • Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) Level 5 or higher
